Our contracts

Our current contracts are helping to fund the rollout of Gigabit capable fibre broadband to some of the hardest to reach communities across Devon and Somerset. We have contracts with Airband, Openreach, and Wessex Internet to deliver this network rollout.

Airband is delivering full fibre broadband to more than 6,000 premises in Central Devon, North Devon, Torridge and West Devon, and over 40,100 homes and businesses in earmarked areas of Somerset West and Taunton, parts of Sedgemoor, East Devon, as well as areas of Mid Devon, South Hams and Teignbridge.

Openreach’s “Gainshare” agreement with the Government has provided £6 million of funding for re-investment by CDS. This is funding a further collaboration with Openreach to extend full fibre broadband to around 2,000 hard to reach rural premises.

Wessex Internet is currently delivering full fibre broadband to more than 4,700 homes and businesses in earmarked hamlets and villages across South Somerset.
