About us

Connecting Devon and Somerset (CDS) is proud to be the largest publicly-subsidised rural broadband programme in England.

We have already delivered superfast broadband access to more than 326,000 homes and businesses in our region – that’s more than any other broadband programme in England to date.

Our programme covers Devon & Somerset County Council areas, Bath & North East Somerset and North Somerset unitary council areas. Take-up of CDS funded broadband services is over 78% which is above the national average.
