What is ‘Get up to Speed’?
Get up to Speed is a funded support service to help people make the most of current or future faster broadband throughout the whole of Devon and Somerset, including North Somerset and B&NES. The service is part of the Connecting Devon and Somerset programme.

What do you do?
The Get up to Speed team runs free workshops and talks for both communities and businesses to help boost digital skills and share the benefits of superfast broadband. You can view the topics we cover on the business and community activity menu pages.

What’s happening near me?
Check out the events page to see our upcoming sessions- more dates are added every month so do keep an eye out! You can also sign up to be updated on new events via email here.
Can you help my business or parish?
Our aim is to engage with as many communities and businesses as possible, so we try to run sessions in locations accessible for multiple parishes and organisations. The Get up to Speed programme is fully funded so there is no charge for us to deliver our sessions.
If you think your area or business network could benefit from a digital skills session, please contact us. We do require a minimum of 15 people and a suitable public venue, such as a meeting room, village hall, community centre, function room, library or school with:

  • Disabled access
  • Wi-Fi and a power supply
  • Suitable seating and tables so people can take notes or use laptops
