Your experience
Medium Sized Business Owner @ Exeter, Devon
Living in Devon or even Exeter, well outside the metropolitan areas, its clear that a viable, sustainable and prosperous future is completely dependent on our ability to remain competitive and cooperate with fast moving communities and developments in Brazil, India and China. It’s axiomatic that the essential criteria to achieve this includes internet and broadband links which are several magnitudes faster than the current UK ‘internet cycle paths’.
100Mbps broadband is essential to making my business, or any forward facing business, able to meet the international grade. Its the means of sharing and deploying work, creating a 365x24x7 operating environment; its the catalyst for innovation and timely development, matching market demands; its the lifeblood of multi-disciplinary and virtual teams working round-the-clock and across the globe; its the means of reducing petrol and energy consumption through local and rural working, and the means of managing and husbanding that consumption locally. Working with 3Mbps broadband, my ability to negotiate and cooperate is severely hampered and my ability to build a competitive business is much curtailed!
