The Rural Connection
The Rural Connection is bringing the new Ka band generation of fast satellite broadband, offering speeds from 6-10 Mbps, to over 1,000 homes and businesses in specific remote parts of Devon and Somerset. This is backed up with support to ensure businesses and communities in those areas can make the best use of better connectivity.

The Rural Connection is running alongside the wider Connecting Devon and Somerset / BDUK programme which aims to deliver superfast connectivity to at least 85 per cent of homes and businesses and improved connectivity to all where the private sector alone will not be investing.
